I am a landscape artist and photographer based in Rochester, NY. I am graduating from Houghton University with a BFA in Studio Art in 2026. I strive to capture the natural compositions of God’s creation through studies en plein air and in the studio.

Growing up, I spent most of my time outdoors staring at the ground, where I would closely study nature and the forest floor. Not much has changed in my habits now, though I have learned to document what I stare at so closely through the expression of painting and photography. I strive to capture the natural compositions God has created with small details that add to each piece, but never to perfectly represent it in a photorealistic way. My goal is to represent the feeling of childlike curiosity through emerging yourself in nature and the quiet reflections that come with it.
